Lay-by Campaign Terms & Conditions

• All deposits / payments must be paid into the bank account as described on the invoice, with the terms as stipulated therein, using the relevant reference therefore.
• A minimum transaction value of 20% of the booking value is required in order to create a Layby-agreement between the parties.
• Regular payments must be made within the 90 days prior to arrival, as part of the Layby payment plan. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that regular payments are made.
• Customers will be liable for all bank charges which occur with their bank deposits. These bank charges will be added onto the layby total.
• Layby payment plans (depending on the arrival date) can vary between 3-month, 6-month, 9-month or 12-month payment-plans.
• The Layby-stay is to be used on the date stipulated as per the booking-agreement / invoice.
• Payments will only be accepted if the correct reference is used.
• No guest will be entitled to check in to property stipulated, until all installments have been paid. 
• Cancellation by the client: the client may cancel the Layby up to 90 days prior to arrival, by written notice and request sent that the Layby be cancelled. Once the request is approved, Legend will refund the payments received within 30 days from the date of approval, less a 10% termination charge on the total amount paid for the order.  It is important to note that this is not an interest charge at all, and no interest is levied on any Layby-stays by Legend.
• Returns / Exchanges / Refunds: There will be no returns, exchanges or refunds on laybys, other than the terms described above. Once a layby is booked and the first installment is made, changes to the arrival date may only be made up to 90 days prior to arrival, not thereafter.
