Legend Hospitality School
The Legend Hospitality School of Distinction was founded as a result of close collaboration between the Free State-based Food & Beverage Institute and Legend Hospitality Group . The school is based at Zebra Country Lodge, close to Pretoria, and offers tertiary students the opportunity to acquire internationally accredited skills in operations, services, reception, accommodation, food and beverage, as well as food preparation and culinary arts.
All the programmes on offer are accredited through City & Guilds International (C&G). Students receive hands-on training and are exposed to the demands and rewards of the industry. The International Hospitality Management Diploma is a full time, 18 month management programme resulting in a formal Legend Hospitality School International Diploma. Anti-poaching Academy
Poachers beware as efforts to combat their activities across Limpopo are taking a giant leap forward.
A state-of-the-art anti-poaching training academy opened at Entabeni Safari Conservancy and Legend Golf & Safari Resort to train and equip the next generation of anti-poaching combat trackers.
In association with TAC TRAC, which already operates two similar academies in the Western Cape, the academy will train up to 100 combat ready trackers each year. With teachers from the likes of Special Forces around the world and drawing on experiences from global combat zones and areas of global anti-terror training, the academy aims to set the standards by which all others will be measured.
The five week long courses cover such areas as: tactical firearms, long distance rifle craft, close quarter combat systems, arrest & restraint procedures, tracking, vehicle searching, crime scene protocols, survival and surveillance craft, dangerous game approaches and much more.
